“Rei Shimon”, um jovem com síndrome de Down que vive na periferia de Israel e que tem grande conhecimento sobre a música Mizrahi (um estilo musical específico dos judeus de ascendência oriental). Shimon que ser um DJ. Ele tem a oportunidade de realizar este sonho quando é aceito em uma escola de radialismo. O filme segue a batalha pessoal e social de Shimon na sua tentativa de comandar um programa na rádio da escola.

“King Shimon”, a young man with Down syndrome, who lives in the periphery of Israel has remarkable knowledge of Mizrahi (Israeli middle- eastern) music and dreams of becoming a DJ. Shimon gets a chance to fulfill his dream when he is accepted to a radio broadcaster’s course at “Kinneret Academic College”. The film follows Shimon and his complex personal and social struggles on the way to becoming a radio broadcaster at the College radio station.
