Além dos desafios corriqueiros que qualquer banda em turnê enfrenta, o documentário retrata também a vida de cada um dos seus membros. Suas deficiências, apesar de evidentemente fazerem parte da história, ficam em segundo plano, para que seja mostrada a turnê e a dinâmica deste grupo ímpar. “Estamos aqui para mostrar para as pessoas o que podemos fazer; só porque temos uma deficiência, não quer dizer que não podemos fazer ROCK”, diz Rory, o vocalista e compositor da banda.

Rudely Interrupted is a rock band and the documentary that follows the band’s journey from the pub stages of Melbourne all the way to the stage of the UN in New York and their European tour beyond. As well as the usual challenges every band faces while on the road, this documentary will delve into the lives of each of its members. Their disabilities though Obviously a part of the story will take a backseat to the coverage of the tour and the dynamics of this unique group of people. “We are here to show people what we can do and just because we have a disability doesn’t mean we can’t ROCK,” says Rory, the band singer and songwriter.
